The Liberator Wedge Review

Hey! So, did we mention there's a huge backlog of reviews we have notes and *cough* research on, but haven't updated on the site? Well, this is one we've had a few emails about, but haven't had time to blab about properly - the Liberator Shapes - sex pillows, cushions, furniture - whatever you want to call them, they are cool!

Liberator makes a number of different 'shapes' that can be used alone or combined to make the perfect soft and supportive love nest.

The first Shape we tried out was a Liberator Wedge, the 30" model to be specific. The same wedge shaped cushion comes in a 24" size as well (those measurements refer to the width of the pillow). Wedges are about 7" tall and 14" long, both use a 27 degree rise to achieve the desired body placement. This and the 24 inch are the smallest and most affordable of the Liberator shapes, costing around $ 90.

Basically these are purpose built sex position enhancer's that can make it easier to enjoy comfortable penetration in a variety of positions, with less fatigue and lots more fun! It works good with missionary, doggy style, anal penetration, cowgirl, and probably more! It's great for a woman receiving oral sex, as it lifts everything up where it's accessible, instead of squished down into the mattress. Liberator deserves an award for that alone... Even just enjoying some time with a vibrator seems more fun, how'd they do that?

It's tough to explain in a review exactly how having a solid Liberator cushion under your partner improves your sex experience. Sure, you could use a pillow, but you wouldn't have the same angle, and it wouldn't be as firm, plus the covering is half of what makes this product so clever.

The folks at Liberator were smart enough to cover the Wedge and other Shapes with a soft yet durable removable micro fiber cover that's machine washable.There's a barrier layer inside that protects the soft Liberator "champagne foam" from getting wet from spilled lube (or other things), yet another one of those well thought out details we like to see.

The cool thing about the micro fiber cloth is that it sticks to itself, so you can assemble a custom piece of sex furniture out of different Liberator Shapes just by setting them on each other. The micro fiber cover is also available in multiple colors across the line. They claim it gets softer with each wash too. To cover it all up and keep it away from dust they include a storage bag, it's great for transporting your Liberator Shape too.

The quality of construction, the attention to detail and just the originality of the design (it's simple, but pure genius) put the Wedge high on our chart of all time best lovemaking aids! Keep an eye out for our reviews of some other Liberator Shapes soon.
